“Above all, I am a Creator. I've always liked inventing, researching and having solid foundations for narratives that could open the doors to pictorial records.
This collection of articles arises from an old passion: the desire to design and make patterns for fabrics.
As part of extensive work lasting several years in drawing and painting, with different materials, I began to develop digitally printed works on high quality and, above all, sustainable fabrics.”
Born in Lisbon in 1968.
Graduated in Philosophy in 1996, she never stopped attending her School of Arts, the SNBA of Lisbon, where she attended since the end of the 80s, courses in Painting, Drawing, Art History, Aesthetic Themes, Cinema and contemporary art, among others.
Various training courses followed in areas as diverse as Illustration, Drawing and Photography at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Faculty of Fine Arts and MOMA in NY. She attended Illustration and Graphic Diaries workshops guided by Professor Richard Câmara.
She received the Award from the SNBA Members' Meeting Room in 2013 and was selected for the “Arte Hoje” Exhibition, promoted by SNBA in 2014.
She is represented in public and private collections, and has held individual and group exhibitions over the last 30 years.
Full member of the National Society of Fine Arts, since 1988.
Member of the Urban Sketchers Association, Lisbon.
